has anyone seen ghosts

Yep, seen at least one.

Not a day goes by at the moment when I dont catch movement or light out of the corner of the eye, this could very easily be nothing though.

A few times at work I've seen someone briefly, or moved out of the way of somebody, only to find there's nobody actually there. Quite possibly a ghost, but not definite as the image is only there for an instant.

Once, however, while working in a hotel (originally a 17thC coaching inn) I saw an apparition moving up the stairs. it moved upstairs at walking pace, disappeared, and the reappeared again further up. I was able to watch it for a good 10 seconds, and look around for possible means by which this could've been created. I found no other possible explanation than it being a ghost.

Also think I heard one once too, but thats another story Wink

No, I was the only one to see it. isn't that always the way? Plenty of people have seen things on the balcony, and there are "reports" (storys) about some of the guests being disturbed at night, or having beds made over them!

My initial thought was it was a residual haunting, as it showed no signs of life or awareness. Also the fact that it appeared to be linked to the balcony sightings (it appeared to be heading that way, and at about that time) and this seems to be a regular clockwork performance, leads me to suspect residual. I know the timing thing's not a guarantee, but that was always my gut instinct.

If it is residual, and if the storys are true, then it seems there are two ghosts at least in the place.

i've seen some. my old house was haunted. and i saw shadows and stuff. not really sure if i actually saw one though. it happened too fast

Yes I have. living at my moms house we had always heard things and seen things out of the corners of our eyes but didnt pay much attention to it. Late one night sleeping in my brothers room a shadow come out of the closet and up the wall next to me and and sorta vanished. But once it vanished I couldn't breath and felt like I was being almost held down. Freaked me out enough to where i slept with the light on. Was 16 at the time. But waking up the next day I had bruises on both my upper arms. A small round bruise in front and behind my upper arms 2 on one arm and 4 on the other. Almost identical bruising as if someone had grabbed me good and tight.

I seeen quite a few ghostly things. My neighbour when I was living back in Wakefield West Yorkshire had a ghost cat who used to sit in her window.

I saw my grandmother a week after we buried her sat in her arm chair at the house, but unfortunately the council found out she died and so we were not allowed back to the house anymore because they needed it for another family even though she had lived there for 55 years.

I also saw a couple of ghost coal miners in a place called Sengenydd in South Wales. But thats about it

The house was built back in the 40's. The builder and his wife lived there for yrs. The old lady who lived next door told my parents what happened. I didnt find out till after I moved out what exactly happened to the people before us. Wasn't a good ending. Pretty sad actually.

What happened to me didnt happen to my brother. But it did happen to his gf who was spending the night. Brother left the room and the shadow appeared. And more or less the same thing. Only she was laying face down and had bruises on her back as well.
