Has anyone any tips, they may suggest for this art?
For example, the quality/size of the glass and how to neutralise after use?
The best way it works for you?

Hi George, this is one area I haven't explored in divination. I am afraid I know nothing much about it apart from keeping an open mind and using the ball as a focus when crystal gazing. I think it works on the same principals as scrying but I might be wrong.
I would be interested to know of other peoples experiences. |

Hi bitterbuck1
Scrying I am sure works in the same way as crystal ball gazing. It's really using something to focus on, enabling pictures to form. Some people use a bowl of water, then add ink or they might use smoke and see what images come to mind. There are other ways too I am sure. |

I believe it works. But not everyone has the ability to use it. |

Thanks guys,
I must admit that I do agree with all the views about Crystal Ball gazing.
Also think that it is important to have the clearest crystal as to cut out the imperfections of the glass whilst visualising .
One point that I would like to mention, is that the black cloth may also be important.
Black....who has got the black cat..?
Kaz...you are coming through strong...do you do the Tarot?

Thanks casper,
I know that it is possible to purchase one on ebay for about £20.
My understanding is that, the crystal ball needs to be 'personalised' by the owner.
If I remember correctly, the crystal ball itself picks up impressions and has to be completely discharged by covering with a black cloth.
This is to shield outside influence that may be picked up by the seer.
I also recall, that just like a mirror, the glass has to have the least impurities as not to distract.
Perhaps at one time these balls used to be crystal?
I think nowadays they are made from glass crystal?
Just my thoughts.

I am sorry Taz, I have just seen your post in January saying that you do Tarot cards.
I did not see this when I asked. So I am going to correct this before others do.
Let me take this point one step nearer...which I doubt if it has been mentioned.
Is your table with white lace, and your Tarot cards red/brown back with a pattern?
Could this cat be yours, and you are constantly stroking it's head whilst you are on your computer.. just curious?
I blurt these things out occasionally without realising. I can never remember if I am told or sense it.

Better still I will show you.

I did not mean to be intrusive with Kaz. Sometimes, I cannot recall what I said and I mix up what I can see in my mind to what is said.
On a one to one basis...we call it 'body language' It happens with nearly everyone. We can all do it, but we need to believe it. Otherwise our negative thoughts or logic will distort these natural true impressions to what we believe.
Take belief away and use faith...that is the answer, and a new world will open up. Faith will let you walk a tightrope, yet if you doubt...you will fall.
Pictures send strong messages.
At times it is just a strong curiosity, and I try and understand the impressions. It is not a 'show off' as I try and avoid such tests...but as you can see by the links, I have little choice. You become like a gun slinger in town and people will challenge you. It never stops at one town, because as soon as you move to another town, you have to stop saying that 'you can draw'
There will be another and another, no matter where you go. Some will shoot you in the back. Others will get you to draw.
If you draw and hurt, you are a wanted man. If you cannot draw, you a fraud, imposter and a charlaton and have to be ousted from public view.
You cannot say that this is a picture taken by a UFO...because it is rediculas.
It is like a thread that follows you to your brain. The 'weight' falls down on to your own head, because you are responsible for what YOU promote.
There is a reason, and by giving YOUR reason, propergates anger because it secludes virtue. It takes away the very foundation of peoples understanding, so they have to test the 'furnace' or 'break the fire'.
It is the sole reason why UFOs scarper when sighted. They have the inteligence to roam the skies and the good sense to see peoples hostility.
They cannot blame mankind for being backward, because in order to FORCE their way, is demolish the whole of man's (and woman's) aspiration.
There is no law in the universe that can force a certain societies truth onto a developing nation. This is the law of the universe. I talk about these things on other forums, and people say that I am a 'Nazi Extremist' Hitler was an evil man and I hate no one. I wish no harm, as I believe that the troubles in the world are caused by the infringement of God's laws.
Enough about this....
Yet, this is indirectly connected, because I have an infirmity with our brothers in space. As they see my persecution and understand their own.
It is PERHAPS for this reason why they have shown me things.
Likewise, they are letting me see for myself.

KAZ - I have some great information about scrying and the true wiccan art of using the scrying mirror. Also have some really weird photos of a scrying session which perhaps freaked out many muggles present |
