Thinking about it, I'd have to say I'd keep what I have.

I hate my name, that's the difference...maybe?
I may consider Jonathan still? It's still on the list! I just want something that says Me... |

Now if you asked my youngest daughter, she would tell you that she hates her middle name.
Can't please everyone.

Jonathan is still on the list. All I want is a 1st and last name.
I think all people should be able to change their names so easily. |

Yes, it's all about being your own person. I realize that last names can spell out a heritage...however we are all free to be our own individuals...

There's a huge story behind my name. Ultimately my name change, is about being happy. However it's also about my protection. My whole name follows me like a plague. Apparently my name brings about strangers, who claim to be related to me and so forth...
I've had some very bad experiences with people, who called me "cuz", who have royally betrayed and hated me, because I don't live up to their cultural standards??? |

My name was originally Pamela-Alison James
used to be tormented at school cos my first name sounded like Pamela Anderson but when i was at Uni, i decided to change my name to Pamela Christine Blackwood. I Chose blackwood as it was the name of the first theatre i had ever worked at where i started my theatre career and chose christine as a middle name cos it was my mums name who had recently died and as I had recently found out at the time that i would not be able to have children i decided to take it on. When my dad found out, he wasn't pleased as my mum chose my middle name So i ended up taking back Alison and surname James and became all those names. Through Deed Poll it only cost me £35 to change my name |

I've known a lot of programs like Deed Poll, which have a site online? I think they are my best bet. I just want a simple change. When I graduate from college, and live on my own, I will change my name.
I don't even think I'll get a decent job, with my name?? The parental thing can be traumatizing, if you don't have money. Cause you'll have to live at home, and THEY WILL take any opportunity to get in your FACE!!! |

Are you willing to tell us?
