I'm sceptical but as a rule - no.

It's the only answer I have until I can find out more.

So your going to remain on the wall, and beleive there is a possibility?
All of your comments so far are denying it all in everything you say.
But you still think that there are ghosts just maybey?
Sound like you've adapted your 'beleifs'. |

I'll commit to a firm categorical opinion on UFO's?ghosts?NWO when I see something compelling that is not sensational, vague, a story or a YouTube video
I've never said 'aliens don't exist' or 'There's no such thing as ghosts' but until I'm presented with concrete evidence, endorsed by mainstream science and academia then I'll remain sceptical. People see strange things all the time that they explain according to their personal beliefs. One mans UFO is another mans planet Venus.

The problem there I think is that, the ability within science to make sence of psychical documentation is restricted by the boundries of the science it's self. There have been many pieces of evidence put farward by well respected people within the field of psychical research and parapsychology. The problem at the moment is that the documentation equipment and the equipment for analysis is not yet up to a standard or or able to record or sence the frequencies within which the documetation is captured. A bit like attemping to record helium levels in 1632. The effects of the helium were there...but the concept and equipment ness to document it where not. I believe there is indeed something going on, but we simply have no concept of what it is and indeed don't have equipment which records most of the subject matter. Hopefully within the near future as new develpments in scientific energy reading equipment improve..not only will we begin to fill out the ellemental chart, but also open doors to the world beyond the science room. In other words, Its there but we don't know what it is or how to document it and what we have documented is only a tiny percent of the possible frequencys available. After all is it not true that the entire universe is a miss mash of + and - and electromagnetic actions and reactions (quantum). The possiblilitys or endless, so DB has every right to sit on the wall of judgement..if we don't have all the jig saw pieces...we have no conclusions. Though theories are a great start) But I will tog on and record what I can and teach all I know, because without knowledge of the field..we will loose what we already know.
Hope this helps. Iain. |

Very well put Iain. As our scientific knowledge expands we may well be able to design instrumentation to truly measure and hopefully record the realms that are currently pure speculation.
As a sceptic I'm very open to those possibilities but I currently form my opinions on the known as opposed to believing in the unknown.
As usual, your input makes perfect sense and brings a very clear perspective to the forum.

and there can be nothing wrong with that.
When new bits and bobs come into the public eye which apparantly SHOW US ghosts lol, I peak with a skeptical eye and look beyond the gadget...what does it do/record/acheive etc.. and is it new tech or re vamped old tech? What frequencies and how is the information recorded? Lots to consider. The sad thing is that most of the stuff produced for mass production is just a re-package of old technology and is a waist of money. I have stuff which appears to collect interesting data which I've had for ages and which produces a damb good negaitive. I cover all the interesting bases as far as energy and frequency are conserned so I aint changing anything till summit new turns up..better the devil you know. I'm always open to new sugestions but I don't find many good ones. But a bit of an open mind and a not too skeptical approach helps me to keep turning up to cold damp monisterys and old houses...because if I don't I won't find anything and that wouldn't be very progressive.
Well keep up the great work guys and great chatting again..keep well.
P.s Flir cameras and laser thermometers are silly.
So is the new real time paranormal dictaphone thing! It actualy splits sound file so you hear any EVP's live...all well and good, but when it splits the file it removes the EVP from the recorded file lmao..they might has well use a parabolic device. Silly silly silly..£175 too. Be better spending £45 on a parabolic device and getting pissed on rest. Most of those recordings are actualy AVP's anyway..bUt the people who buy them wouldn't know what an A.V.P was. Why do people buy gear they don't have any clue of the concept of? Anyway I'm done ranting now..thanks again. |
