Out of curiosity Iain, is there a year connected to this story?

I can't clarify the age on the story, it was in one of the many ghost story books Ive read over the years. But its just one of those stories which make you think. Sad to think that should all the ghost trapped energy theories be true, how sad is it that an old lady is still in that place on her own. |

I too believe there is usually no smoke without fire - but if the old lady is still there, I don't think she will remain there indefinitely. |

Actually the funny thing is energy doesn't disappear it dissipates. So even though she might not be able to interact or exist atomically, she would still be there at a lower range...forever lol. Bless her. |

Even though the story is anecdotal and has probably evolved in a Chinese Whispers style with every re-telling (moving further away from the truth each time) - if we make a huge leap of logic and assume it's true....
Where is the old lady's 'energy' - in the phone line?, underground where the phone used to be?, in limbo?, in heaven?, in whatever place dead people's energy goes?. Is she still knocking around Sheffield perhaps making crank calls to mobile phones that frequent the area mentioned?.

Fatigue tripping.
A few months ago myself and 3 friends were on a "ghosthunt" at the busby stoop in north yorkshire. At 3 in the morning myself and my friend were sitting in the bar area when i saw a figure peep round the corner. I dint say anything as i believed myself to be so tired that i was fatigue tripping. A few days later i mentioned it to my friend who then reported to me that she had seen the same thing. She hadnt said anything either as she believed herself to be over tired aswell.
Can two people fatigue trip the same thing??? |

I'd go with the fact that you were tired.
