Laughing Laughing

I read about it in a Travel Magazine we get.
The author of the article said it is a haunted road and some
of the town folk will not travel the road at night.

Wish I had read about it before we went to Ireland. I would have liked
to have asked about it. And just maybe had taken a moon light
drive down the bog road.......

Where's Cactus? He may have heard about it. Very Happy

No, we didn't. Sad

He was working quite a bit and we were only in the area for a couple
days. Hopefully we can meet up when we go again this December.
This time we are going to be in the Belfast/Newry area for a week.

Looking forward to have a few pints with him. Laughing Laughing

Yes, that looks like the area.
I'd hate to have a flat tire on that road late
at night!!

I wonder what people have seen on that road though, it must be some thing scary to have everyone so scared
unless the story's have been exaggerated over the years Laughing

I'm going to do some more Googling on it. There has
to be a reason of some sort.

Of course many times things do get a bit more exaggerated.

A room in a hotel I stayed in last weekend is apparently haunted, I tried to switch rooms but it was already booked -

No I stayed in another room - when I was at the hotel I heard about the haunted room and asked could I switch to it for a laugh but couldn't because it was already occupied

A little bit off subject but just thought I'd mention it - a couple of weird things have happened around my sister and her boyfriend lately - the first occurrence was when they were in a restaurant and the salt shaker slid across the table very slowly and deliberately, they both seen it.

The second time they were in our house about 1am in the morning (I was upstairs in bed asleep) a neightbour came over and wanted them to help take out her contact lenses (she's a silly wee woman from across the street, but very genuine and harmless) anyway they were standing in the hall and a picture of my sister and myself tilted forward very slowly then stopped then tilted back slowly back onto its stand, the wee woman was messing about with her eyes and was oblivious to what just happened, but my sister and her boyfriend both saw it again and got a bit freaked out.
