Well here is my second experience, but technically, my first....
When I was about 13, I was at secondary school and for history class, we went to the Manor House to discuss with the 'then' curator the chapel, origins of the building etc..
We were having the tour, and when we ended up in the largest of the upstairs rooms, it was unbelievably cold, to the point that everyone including the teachers, was complaining.
We were advised at the time that that particular room was always colder than the rest of the building, and was also frequented by the spirits that roam the Manor House, despite all windows being shut and the doors closed behind us at the time.
I decided that it was obviously just a heating issue, so I foolishly (didnt understand or care for ghosts and the paranormal back then) felt the radiators, and they were that hot I got a blister!
As son as I took my hand off, it was ice cold again.
I've never been able to explain it, and I'm a qualified plumber and heating engineer now, so I know about stuff like heat movement, air circulation and the like.
Afterwards, we were walking up the stairs while the curator was talking about the secret hideaways behind some of the wall wooden panels, when the wall started knocking to us! There was no-one against the wall at the time, and if you put your hand against it, could feel the tapping.
Both can be subjected to numerous de-bunkings, but I believe that we had another experience that day. |

Did the entire class witness this as well?
Would this have possibly been a set up for your
history class?
A curator behind the wall playing a joke?
