My UFO Sighting

This happened when I was about 12 years old.

My father and I were headed home from church late one night. As we were going up the road to our house we came upon a large group of people standing in the middle of the road. This was really weird since it was so late.

We got out of the truck to see what was going on. Everyone was looking up in the sky. There was a roundish looking light hovering in the air. It was a sort of purplish color with a lighter color around the edges. It was difficult to tell how high it was, but it looked really far up.

Every now and then it would zoom very quickly to a different position. It zig zagged back and forth like that several times and then suddenly it zoomed very very quickly off into the distance until it was gone.

To this day I am still not aware of any explainable craft that has the ability to change positions so quickly.

Welcome to the forums TGT. Interesting story... can't help but wonder what it was..I do find it interesting that those who claim to have caught a UFO on video, the images are always blurry or can't be seen clearly....

Where were you living when you saw the UFO?

With that many witnesses it must have been the talk of the town!

Do you recall anything out of the ordinary occuring following this experience?

This happened in southeastern Kentucky. From the best of my memory it was around 1976.

I dont recall anything out of the ordinary after the UFO was gone. Everyone in the area talked about it quite a lot over the next few days.
