Thanks! Our new Kwoon floor is soooo beautiful! I can hardly believe it's ours! Very Happy

By the end of today the carpet should be laid and I'm really excited. This nightmare has been going on for so long I can't wait to put it all behind me!

Xena, where had you been holding classes for your 'kids'?

When the disaster first happened, we temporarily held classes at a local gymnastics school. Within a month, though, I felt I had overstayed my welcome, so even though my Kwoon was at that point just a stripped cement room with some beams showing, we went back.

A month after that, things really got started with the repairs and it's been getting steadily better since. Smile

Of course, since Summers are so very short here, most students quit for the summer anyway, so all I have is a handful at the moment. Things will pick up again in September.

As an update, the floors are in the Kwoon now, and look sooo wonderful! The carpet in the other area of the basement is down, and the new lino is installed up the back stairs. On Monday all the guys have to do is touch up with the paint in a few places, and finish installing the baseboard. By the end of Monday everything should be back to perfect, room wise. Very Happy

I'm here, albeit sporadically. Summer is a busy time for folks, especially around here as it's so short a season.
