I've only heard what I've seen on the news reel. As YB has mentioned the media controls what we see and hear on any news that goes on.
My prayers are with the child and her family. |

Parents need a set of eyes in the back of their heads, just to make sure their kids are kept safe. |

I havnt read through all of these posts, but i would like to add my own thoughts..
if the mcCanns were any other couple, single parent, younger, they would have been slaugtered for their irrisponsible actions that fatefull night, leaving the children alone.
why were they administrating medication (valigran most likely) to make their children sleep, this is a prescription drug, given in certain circumstances (not for conveniance)
UPDATE ON MADDIES STORY
COPS moved closer to charging the parents of Madeleine McCann last night after demanding mum Kate’s diary be seized as trial evidence.
It is believed they want the journal – written by Kate in the days after Maddie vanished – to prove their theory that she killed her daughter.
Portuguese police had already copied and returned the diary to Kate and husband Gerry, but they want it again as they seek to build a concrete case against the couple. Under Portugal’s laws, only original documents can be used in a court case.
Portuguese newspapers have already published what they claim are extracts and say the diary is “fundamental” to the belief that GP and mum-of-three Kate, 39, was involved in the death of her four-year-old girl.
Passages are said to reveal a mother at her wits’ end coping with three “hysterical” kids.
Cardiologist Gerry, 39, is said to be portrayed as an absent dad happy to leave his wife to shoulder the burden while he relaxed on holiday.
But pals of the McCanns claim reports of the diary’s contents are the latest attempt to blacken the couple’s names in a long-running smear campaign.
It was also claimed that diary extracts may have even been faked.
Yesterday The Sun told how Kate and Gerry, from Rothley, Leics, were named prime suspects in a new police report.
Cops are preparing to travel to the UK to interview pals who dined with them on the night Maddie vanished to clarify alleged “inconsistencies” in statements.
Police have maintained throughout the eight-month drama that the couple accidentally killed Maddie, then moved her body in a Renault Scenic hired 25 days after the disappearance.
A source close to the family said last night: “The McCanns fear the police want to show a judge they are in position to move the case forward.”
Cops are also believed to want to see phone records from when Maddie vanished, a bible and the tot’s favourite soft toy, Cuddle Cat.
********************************************
Gerry and Kate McCann have held secret talks with producers over plans to turn the story of their missing daughter into a film.
The McCanns are also considering writing a book in a bid to raise funds to prop up the dwindling Find Madeleine Fund.
Kate and Gerry McCann wants to keep Madeleine's profile
high, their spokesman said
It is understood the couple have held talks with the entertainment agency IMG, which produced the award winning docu-drama Touching the Void, the story of two British climbers' desperate fight for survival after getting lost in the Peruvian Andes.
The film was a mix of drama and the real life accounts of the climbers, and the McCanns appear willing to follow a similar format.
Clarence Mitchell, the family's spokesman, said: "We have had a number of preliminary meetings. Nothing has been confirmed and we are certainly not working in conjunction with any one particular organisation, film-maker or publisher at this stage."
He added that the film was not about making a profit for the family, but about keeping Madeleine's profile high and "finding their little girl".
The 39-year-old couple were, he said, extremely sensitive to public perception about anything they do to keep their daughter's disappearance in the public's mind. |
