                                | I've come accross this place before but don't know too much about it. Anybody know anything else about it's history?

                                | It must have a ton of history, being it was built in the early 1300's. Started reading some of the history off the site you gave Builderbob. Do you have any plans of visiting?

                                | I grew up nearby to Samlesbury Hall and have been there loads. They have a great selection of antiques for sale on the upper floors of the house!
 I haven't seen a ghost there, though.

I think the legend goes that the owners daughter fell in love with a chap who her father deemed unsuitable, and thus their tragedy was to separated. Their apparitions meet on the lawn in the front of the house, embracing forlornly before vanishing.

Thats how I remember it, anyway.

                                | Most Haunted did a show there, you should look it up to YouTube, or a site I use called SurfTheChannel.
I remember one part of the show wich explained a murder, and I think it was a murder of a preist and apparently blood can still been seen on the floor where he was killed.

Wikipedia is also a good place to look for stories.

                                | I'm fairly sure there is also meant to be a headless lady or a white lady there. (I think a white lady.) | |

                                | I did an overnight investigation there. Apart from some odd noises - nothing.
