(it's from a couple of yrs back though) I've been to Temple Newsham and to be honest with you I didn't feel anything strange there. It mentions Kirkstall abbey and I used to work for a department store just down the road. Aparently part of the stores warehouse was built on the grounds of the abbey and people used to report seeing a monk walking through the wall at one side and through the other wall.
