Of course they are!
Stating that an "UFO" is an Unidentified Flying Object!
I think there are a lot of them in the sky! Everything you see in the sky & you can't explain is an UFO... Right?! |

It could also be an Unidentified Floating object both in the sky and in the water.
Your point being taken, I still believe the world governments are covering up these things. They are very well known to do stuff like that. |

But I'm sure they do!
Mind you I'm certain there's Extraterestial life! It would be very narrow-minded to think whe are the only living organisme in the Galaxy isn't it!
I also think that the UFO-medium is a very complicated subject!
Now that I found this forum I will post in time some of my theories regarding the subject!

Yes, i beleive UFO's do exist, but i have never seen one. Also what of Area 51? They are supposedly trying to research ET life on other planets, but they have never released any information to my knowledge. This makes people wonder what there actually doing. I would love for them to do so, it would make very good reading. |

Hm, all very interesting aspects, i also think there's definitely something above our heads, but it bugs me, that most pictures are always totally unclear, u can't really say for sure it's an ufo. And isn't it very interesting, that if there are extraterestrials or aliens, or whatever you wanna call them, never really showed up? i mean, if i where on a travel to another planet to find out more about them, i would show myself openly, having perfect proof that i'm from out there and try to exchange informations and stuff. or destroy the planet right on the spot, whichever way they prefer. anyway, my point being that it's more than strange that we never could meet one of those aliens, i mean properly, like on a video where he waves to a camera like a proper tourist? |

I also believe that UFOs exist in that they are objects that are sighted in the sky and therefore flying and are, at the time they are seen, unidentified by the observer.
What I don't think they are - are alien or extra dimensional spacecraft for reasons too numerous to go into just yet.
Area 51 is certainly a real place - the worst kept military secret in the US military. Whether it's ever been used to back engineer captured extraterrestrial technology is highly debateable.
The fact that it was used to test conventional military technology such as the Stealth Fighter and Bomber is not in doubt.
I've been as close as it's possible to get to Area 51 way back in the early 90's at the height of the UFO speculation behind its true purpose. I saw strange lights over the Nevada skies but nothing that I'd class as alien technology. I've seen similar lights coming and going into Manchester Airport for many years.
UFOs are largely in the eye of the beholder. Believing is seeing and seeing supports a host of preconceptions irrespective of what the UFO actually is.

Get out there Cactus and get stargazing, the answers are in the sky,it's well worth the wait. I suspect there is more of a chance to witness a UFO over a city thesedays, if not try a landmark in the countryside, like a mountain or woods or perhaps even a reservoir.
Of course you will need a bit of patence whilst you wait but you have natral phenomina and satelities to keep you going, if you're lucky you will be able to see the ISS. |

You may not have to wait that long, it's a game of chance, will you be at the right place at the right time.
To up you're chances just keep a casual eye on the sky at random times, say if you pop outside the bar for a smoke take a little sweep of the sky.
It's always when you least expect it.
With patience I beleive you will get a sighting for sure.
You don't strictly have to have an expensive scope, just a pair of eyes and a camera will do it.
I make nights of it sometimes and have a midnight barberque and stuff like that. It's actually fun. |

No,
My brothers got one and i've borrowed it a few times, thats quite rare though, he hates lending stuff.
I might buy one, one day.
A pair of binouclars is always a good cheaper alternative.
My freind brought a telescope over last year and we spent about 3 hours setting it up from the box finally we discovered that it had a vital part of the stand missing and that was the end of that! |
