Famous Ghost Pictures Opinions Needed Part 1
I would just love to hear peoples opinions on some Famous Ghost images I have come to see many times over the past few years
Part 1
Probably the most famous ghost picture of all time "The Brown Lady" taken in 1936 by photographers Captain Provand and Indre Shira while shooting for Country Life magazine proports to show a ghost descending a staircase at England's historic Raynham Hall, which is said to be haunted by Lady Dorothy Walpole, who once lived at the Hall. She is known as The Brown Lady due to reports of the spirit being seen wearing a brown brocade dress. She officially died of smallpox, but rumors have it that she was pushed down the stairs by her husband after learning of an affair. |

I'm not sure on this one, though I can say without fear of contradiction that it's not been photoshopped!
It looks good, almost too good in fact. I'd have to defer on this one to someone with a greater knowledge of photography and manipulation. |

If I remember the story correctly, the photographers supposedly saw the apparition descending the steps and hurriedly took the picture. If it is a fake, I wonder how they did it back then. |

Twirly, get a camera, find this staircase and take a lot of photos at night if possible, see if you can catch anything.. |

LOL! I'll try - Blickling Hall is here in Norfolk too, Famous for Anne Bolyn ghosts especially the night before the anniversary of her execution - a coach and horses drives up the main road and driveway to Blickling Hall to collect the imprisoned Anne, It is later seen returning her headless body to the hall. Local lore says the headless Anne walks out of the carridge though I have yet to get proof of this! |
