|
|
I would just love to hear peoples opinions on some Famous Ghost images I have come to see many times over the past few years
Part 2
This picture was taken in 1959 by Mrs. Mabel Chinnery apparently no one was in the backseat when the picture was taken. Mrs. Chinnery recognized the person in the backseat as her dead mother whose grave she was just visiting!!! She staked her reputation on the authenticity of the photograph |

Again, not sure on this one, but somehow it doesnt feel right. It could be genuine, but it could easily be fake. All we can do is take the word of Mrs Chinnery for it, or not, and no disrespect to her, but she's staking a reputation that we don't know.
Also, it's not very clear, almost looks like a man. I'm sceptical about her recognising this as her Mother.
Having said that, it's not one I'd guarantee is fake, just that's the way I'm leaning on it. |

Has anyone ever seen that Bonnie Tyler video for her song Total Eclipse Of The Heart where there are a bunch of choir boys with white lights as their eyes. Thats what this pic reminds me of, The eyes are kinda scary. But I have recently been told that by some people of the early 1900's etc in particular, they used to scratch the eyes off pics of the deceased to stop them looking. Does anyone know if this is true. |

The famous ghost pic that really raises my hackles is the one of the "Tulip Staircase" at Britain's National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, taken in 1966 by a Rev Ralph Hardy. Something about her eyes....wow. Now that is spooky! |

I have that pic up on one of the other famous pics threads, but whose eyes are you referring to because the Tulip Stair case is the one woth ghostly figures walking up the stairs with their hands on the banisters isn't it? |

Actually, now you mention it, in that picture it does look like a face. Bit like one of the Martians from "Mars attacks" |
