|
|
Hi all,
Cobb Cemetery is located at the top of a hill and in a pine forest. I suppose there are some folks that either don't care about their surroundings after their death or their next of kin wants to go as cheaply as possible for their loved one's interment. Whatever the case, I have seen more cemeteries in this condition than just this one. I decided to drive over to this one yesterday and take a few pictures. I wound up snapping off about 40 but I noticed strange anomalies on two of them. In the first one, there appears to be the apparition of an elderly man(?) who looks to me to be grimacing. But I can see quite clearly his collared coat. I have circled the apparition. See http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3200/3145347961_93080f64f2_o.jpg
The coat doesn't appear to be from the modern era but the tomb with the large stone he appears to be standing by (Mr. Cobb himself) was interred in 1917.
The next photo to me appears to feature more of these anomalies where the background subtly blurs from it's immediate surrounding area, almost like looking through a sheet of clear plastic...for just a short distance. Closer examination seems to reveal the form of a man in the circled area on the right, who seems to be pointing to his right...which led me to the one on the left. Those almost look like a child or even children to me. See http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3087/3145347395_7ece3aee91_o.jpg |

I can't make out anything more than matrixing in these. I'll have to try on the computer tomorrow. Did you capture any other evidence? EMF or EVP by any chance. |

No, mrx, I don't have the equipment for that. Maybe it is matrixing although I don't know what that is~ I'm certainly no expert like you and YB. They just sometimes come out interesting to me. Flossy, if you can save a copy of the file on your computer so that you can enlarge the 1st one further you may be able to see what I'm talking about on it. By the way that old gentleman may be attempting to smile instead of grimace; it was the only time I asked, "May I take your pic?" before clicking the shutter. |

I think, to be honest, it's just the background forming rough shapes, and us "seeing" patterns and images in them. The first one does seem to draw ones eye, as it seems in slightly worse focus than the rest of the shot.
The 2nd one i can see the images you mean, but to me they seem to be made up from background shapes, rather than being an outline in themselves. Having said that, that doesn't mean that there's nothing there, just that for me they're probably just random images. |

Okay, wow, I was looking to an entirely different area of the photo (the area circled on the left side). Gee, you know, I don't know what that is that you focused on. It is strange looking though, hmm. Anyway, I understand what Solstice Moon is saying. Could be. Still interesting to me though. Can't help but wonder. |

I took a closer look at the area Flossy circled. I do see two images, what I see is a boy on the left and a girl on the right. Could be matrixing however there appears to be a distortion of the pixels in those locations which makes me believe there is something there.
I will play with the pic after work and see if I can bring them out better. |

I was starting to get tired last night & couldn't make anything out other than how odd that area looked that Flossy pointed out. I took another look after work this afternoon and I see them now. Whoa! |

i had a closer look at that 1st picy and heres what i came up with
there looks like 2 figures hiding behind thr trees and inside the figure aeronox pointed out i can see a small boy with a face just above it, and in between the trees i can see another face, pointed nose and chin with very high cheek bones lol
probably just my weird eyes seeing things but its what i see anyways |

The strange shadow in all pics is in the same place...
try to clean camera lens...
i'm sceptic about orbs, worms or mist...in the 99.9% of pics there are focus problem or fail computing pixels...
I believe in paranormal but i'm a bit "fussy"
Sorry for my bad english... i'm from italy |
