My first in this series is this:
Why do you think an appearance of a ghost/spirit reduces the ambient temperature of the area? |

It could be related to an increase in ions. We do not have an ion counter yet so I wont be able to give you any first hand experiences on it. However if you recall that there are "power drains" from equipments and batteries reported this would suggest an energy collection stage prior to an event (manifestation etc). If the energy is being collected in theory the ion count could be increasing which would make air dry and colder. |

Well, To be honest , i dont think that every ghostly presence causes a temperature change, When i first started reading into and becoming more involved with investigating the paranormal, I had to question some of my findings because a key aspect I thought was integral to determining if spirits were present was the temperature. Yet I have on occasion recorded no temperature changes despite witnessing events.
However, depending on the type of haunting or paranormal activity taking place, again I believe Science plays it roll. For those who agree when i say that a spirit / ghost / presense / entity is made up of an energy. THere are different types of energy involved with the paranormal yeah, THe main one I believe is Ectoplasm. People debate this with me in the past because they can proved that Ectoplasm is visible in a liquid form but Ectoplasm is an avenue that scientists are still researching as to being a spiritual energy which when triggered can speed up or even slow down the naturally occurring vibrations within the energy which is turn alters temperature.
You also see in most cases that the temperature change is not normally a long process, it nirmally happens for a few minutes or so which usually coincides with the theories of a the energy being compact and constantly moving around us. If this theory applies to this kinda energy, I would safely assume it can be applied to other forms of energy such as that of psychokinesis and Telekinesis; movement of matter . Again i have seen reports and heard people talk about the temparature fluctuations because the temparature of the inner body collides that of the outer body therefore making an obvious recording of temperature change.
Since joining WOG I have really got into learning about the Science onvolved with the Paranormal. If anyone can agree with anything i have said or disagree let me know what areas exactly so I can do more research. |

I think on certain occassions that it's not just the air but the persons body temperature with human persperation and a light breeze can make a person feel as if the teperature has changed. I too have experienced entitites where there has been no temp fluct.

Welcome to the forums P9R. I'm assuming by what I have read that it is not always associated with it. |
