‘Murder Most Foul’
A Chapel lit by two candles on an Altar. Opposite the Altar is the only visible door. On the wall to the left of the Altar is a tapestry [depicting some Bible story]. A cloaked man kneels at prayer.
Suddenly there is a ‘swoosh’ and a bright gleam. Blood spatters the Altar-cloth. The man has been beheaded! The assailant wraps the head and sword in the cloak, and ties a knot. He then leaves via a spiral staircase. After throwing the gruesome bundle into a lake, he rides off into the night. [Throughout his face isn’t seen. ]
Many years later a man lies on his death-bed. He confesses a terrible crime to a priest. To try and atone for it he went on a pilgrimage. Yet, whenever he tried to enter a holy place, he was violently held back. By a dreadful spectre holding a severed head and bloodied sword!
The dream ends with the priest’s moral dilemma, Should he give this man absolution and the Last Rites, or not?
‘The Phantom Clock’
A misty Cemetery at night. The Full Moon bizarrely tells the time [in Roman Numerals]! An impossibly long ladder leads up to it. I climb with trepidation, as nothing appears to support the ladder.
I find myself in a cube-shaped Chamber. Each wall is dominated by an illuminated clock-face [a bit like Big Ben]. In the middle is a ticking, rotating copper globe on a three-legged stand. It is linked to each clock-face by a turning rod.
Looking out the door I entered I note I’m in a glass [or crystal] Tower on a hill. The countryside around is lit by the rising [or setting] Sun. The distance to the ground is about the height of an average church Tower.
A trap-door in the floor leads to a room containing a huge metal frame hung with three bells. Another trap-door [in the Chamber ceiling] leads to the roof. I note I am now in a stone Tower in the Market Place of a bustling Town! It is mid-morning.
Returning to the chamber, I get a shock. For I’m inside an ordinary clock! [The mechanism appears to be a Victorian one.] |

I see a pond in which a green hut is seen. There is a Shiva lingam inside the hut. I see this dream for more than 2 decades. |

What a fascinating dream, cuddly. Until I saw 'Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom' I'd never heard of a Shiva Lingam stone, let alone seen one. I happened to be in a New Age shop a couple of months [or so] ago. And there was one on a shelf. The first I'd ever seen in 'real life'. So I bought it!
The woman said it was a river stone [from the Ganges], so it was naturally formed. Which means no two are alike. Mine has very distinctive bands, stripes, and dots in dark red, brown and grey. The Shiva Lingam is reputed to have the highest frequency/vibration of any stone, and is revered in temples all over India. I was told it is a fertility symbol, though not quite as 'potent' as the ones seen in the film!
www.templenet.com/beliefs/shivling.htm has info on their significance. |
