Psi Vampires, don't need blood...
However they still have hemoglobin needs...
Sugar through candy is a good substitute... |

I loved the book Garden of Stones by Jody Offen. She wrote a squeal to Love a Vampire. But honestly, the woman needed an editor badly. Her spelling was horrible at times, using the wrong word for things. But the plot was good enough for me to look past it;
The Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause. I liked it for its ending. It wasn't run of the mill happily ever after.
Sunshine by Robin McKinley. I have not read part two yet. Part one could just be a short book in itself. But so far, it's good.

Has anyone realised yet that Vampires don't actually exist apart from in books and films and in the minds of the people who (due to various reasons) think they're Vampires?.

Highlighting part of your quotation.
If one does believe that they are in fact a vampire, does not that
mean they do exist?
Regardless if we believe or not? |

If I believe that I'm a Unicorn does that mean that Unicorns exist?.

As you quoted before DB..."vampires don't actually exist apart from in books and films and in the minds of the people who (due to various reasons) think they're vampires?
Therefore, if you believe that you are indeed a unicorn then yes they do exist... in your mind. Regardless if I believe or not.
I do not believe in vampires as in the days of old.
Nor do I believe in the magical unicorn.
I do believe that there are people who in fact believe they are vampires and practice "bloodletting" (not for a better word), therefore in that mind set they do exist.
Over all DB, yes I do agree with you on the existence of vampires,
they do not exist in my world but apparently they do in others.
