Currently doing the rounds on the internet is this relatively recent footage of a UFO filmed over the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.

Hi there all,
An interesting question D B,

Now there has been much debate over this and as far as I can tell nobody is none the wiser.

There are 5 vids available to see and its video 4 that seems to suggest a fake and suprise suprise thats the video that the mainstream media picked up on and made a big deal about. I beleive they would try to discredit it this way by adding there own obviously fake vid amongs the others.

They made a obvious on purpose mistake. Video 4 shows 2 angles the first you here an American woman sayin something and then the video shows you another angle, in this second angle the UFO stays down for only 5-6 seconds but in the first part it is down for about 15-18 seconds.

I can't say for sure if this is real or not as i'm no expert and also it was on all news web and as far as I know that site is famous or accused for pushing fake sightings as genuine.

The Other videos show a differnt story though and when analysied they seem perfect.
It this was faked then this must have been a huge effort with multiple people involved.

Interestingly I have seen simular in the sky so it was at least based on a phenomina.

If this is real this is hugley significant due to the location of the sighting.

Yes they make some good points that are quite hard to debate otherwise.
I still would not place money on it all being faked though. They was using video 4 that clearly was the interloper.

It is always usefull to keep an open mind on these matters because it's not really that unberleivable that UFO's are visiting our planet at will and have been doing so for many years.

The problem with any video is that there will always be people saying,"thats not true" and others saying it is.
I guess though if you have never had an encounter or an experience its alot to stomach.

I have read on this site many times seeing is beleiving and if you have seen for yourself then that is helpfull when trying to make up you're own mind.

I still can't say for sure but if they were all faked videos of the Jerosulem UFO then who ever instigated it had a good knolage of a known UFO.

There is certainly a wealth of anecdotal and dubious video evidence that UFO's have been visiting us since we learned to draw and write. But the plural of anecdote is not data - no matter how many people report UFO or alien encounters. Time and time again people have lied and faked encounters, pictures and increasingly video footage of UFO's. People have also misperceived lights in the sky as alien technology when it's been human technology, stars, planets, birds or mental delusion fuelled by wishful thinking and a need to believe.

But let's look at the evidence.....................................

Thats fair enough DB, everyone has there own take on the whole issue.
There have been disclosures from our very own powers that be indicating the Military are well aware of UFO's precence and certenly do not deny it, they have disclosed the files they kept secret during the war.

Another case where UFO's appeared over a UK missile silo has been realised and then the rockets paked up and the hovering lights baffeled all the personel.

There are simply to many witnesses these days to say that they are all nutters or looking at swamp gas.
I don't beleive for one second that millions of people globaly are just wishfull thinkers or all mistaken. Many of these witnesess are credible people. I know for sure what I have witnessed and that was very real.
Also the ancient past has very strong connections with UFO's and it only takes a short bit of research to find that out most ancient cultures mention them somewhere, so as you can seethe evidence is not, not there but is deing denyed.

Also we have other phenomina like catle mutilations to support the idea even further and some of the things that happens to these animals is almost impossible for us to do with our current technology.

Many accounts are discribing simular types of sighting.

I agree, there are thousands of witnesses but then again billions of people believe in god and can testify that he exists, they've seen angels, heard god talk to them etc - doesn't mean they're right and that god exists.

There is no 'standard witness'. Every UFO encounter has it's own unique set of circumstances from the credibility and mental state of the witness to the weather conditions - there's a wealth of variables that basically means each sighting is specific to the person, the time, the place and the culture.

Many of these witnesess are credible people.

Depends what your definition of 'credible' is. Are Astronauts credible witnesses?. Are Policemen?. Is the man who works behind the bar in the Pub?.

I know for sure what I have witnessed and that was very real.

That's just pseudoscience that has been debunked for many years. I've read Von Daniken , Hapgood, Berlitz, Blumrich and Hancock plus many more advocates of the ancient astronaut hypotheses. Their arguments are flawed and they're copyists copying essentially inacurrate data.

Sure there's cattle mutilations, there always has been - cattle get mutilated by naturally occurring predators. Some cases are I admit unusual but give me one good reason why a highly...no..MASSIVELY advanced civilisation would want the rectums of cattle?.

I'm not having a pop Agentscott, I think you're raising very valid points that need to be discussed but sometimes we have to look beyond the sensationalism and the ulterior motives of the authors and ask ourselves - why?.

I will say though a list of arguments like that could be made in reverse.
