The Red Lion Hotel, Colchester Town Center

Hi there all,
Here is a haunted place that I know of, infact I used to work there back in 2003-2004.

I thought I would post this because it's a great story and I can confirm weird happenings.

The building is big and ancient, 16th centrey if my memory serves me correct but there are also older parts. Its got a very odd layout too with lots of old and dissused areas. To be honest for the size of the building it seemed highly understaffed at the time and you could just dissapear there, I used to go exploring some of the dissused areas and beleive me it was spooky.

The staffroom is below room 10, where the ghost of the girl walks and I always used to here noises up there, banging and stomping sounds Didn't pay much attention to it at first.

Once I was having a smoke alone in there it was a very quite winter evening, must have been about half nine, not much work to do and hardly any staff in, The boss came in the staff room and I joked, sounds like that couple above are having a good time(due to all the, erm sounds and knocking) he then answered, it's empty tonite Dave, yes you will get used to that.

I highly reccomend if you are considering to come here to colchester then spend a night in room 10 and you may well have a very sleepless night.
