One of the hallmarks of good scientific methodology is that a claim, proposition, or hypothesis must be falsifiable; that is, there must be some way to determine whether an event occurred or it didn't, a phenomenon exists or it doesn't. If I claim that an invisible, undetectable polar bear is living in my garage, that may be true but is not a testable, falsifiable claim, because if an investigator searches for evidence and finds none at all, I can just say, "Of course you couldn't find evidence for it, the polar bear is undetectable." Thus it is an untestable, scientifically worthless claim.

well lets just say then, that if you believe ghosts exist or have ever seen one, and this footage hasnt been tampered with - this is probably a spirit
if you dont believe, this must be some kind of optical illusion
remember like we talked about before - there are a lot of distinguished scientists and distinguished people from all professions that believe in ghost, life after death, are religious etc... |

Not many reputable scientists in the areas of expertise that are important ie Physics, neurobiology etc actually believe in life after death, ghosts, UFO's or spirits. A number of scientists are religious but that's not the same thing.

You're making assumptions there Cactus that you can't prove. There are degrees of religious belief. Some christians believe in creationism while many others don't and they believe in evolution.
Conversely there are degrees of belief in life after death and heaven and hell. Just because someone has a religious belief it doesn't mean they fall for every lie and myth in the bible.
