It is. Didn't you read what I posted earlier. If you want it explained to you I will. Just ask.

The sheer size is an obsticle for sure and the chances of life are limited but what with the huge number of possibities (the drake equasion) then you may well be smart to use the word probobly) |

D B Sweeney, I don't follow you - I did understand what you said earlier, you were talking about the sheer size of the universe and so the distance would be the major factor in ETs visiting - I mentioned the possibility of extradimensional beings and you said yes that is possible.
Then I said in that case the distance wouldn't be an issue.
and you said 'It is.'

That's some prettygood CG IMO.
And I know a thing or two about CG.
It looks to be a CG model with 2 particle emitters applied, one pointing left the other right. The particle life's are set to travel and expand as they are ejected.
That's my verdict based on what I see anyway. |

Doesnt look like CGI to me, I have seen a single orb that looked like one of those just last week, it went to a cloud and never came out, it was only a small cloud so I think the orb was hidding. |

You conveniently failed to mention that this 'wormhole' hypothesis is unproven and just speculation not hard science - have you been watching too much Doctor Who Cactus?.

everything we are talking about here is hypothetical I think you should read this thread again and give a more intelligent reply next time - or I tell you what Ill make it more simple for you
you said - the distance makes alien contact impossible
i said - what if there were extradimensional beings, distance wouldnt be an issue then (THE HYPOTHESIS)
you said - it would
i said - wormhole hypothesis
you said - Quote: |

OK, if it's hypothetical - The tooth fairy brings the aliens to Earth in her furry magic purse

pathetic - your not a true skeptic DB - your faulted; you can never admit when you are wrong
when the going gets tough the tough get going
Im the bigger man because I can admit whenever I am wrong
It was hypothetical when you tried to correct me by saying the vast expanse of space would prevent extradimensional beings coming, but you were unable to provide an explanation for that statement - do you know what your problem is? You believe you are smarter than you actually are - and your intellectual ambitions outweigh your abilities |
