KiloCharlie, thanks for the information - you make caving seem really appealing and I will definitely try it at some point now. I know what you mean about fun minutes/day - jumping for me is a rush like no other but it doesn't last very long, although I get excited from the moment the plane takes off  |

It is a cool cave and offers a wonderfull days scrambling, Richard a guy from Derbyshire who used to run our Castleton ghost tour was one of the first people to do the entire system. Its a good distance and links all over. The weather has to be right for Giants, its also an early stone age settlement area and is apparantly haunted by a half bodied spector which Richard has actualy see. Its a good drop pnce you get in and has claimed a few lives too. Great stuff sir, thanks for sharing. |
