Hi,
Sorry I forgot to mention that the woman you see thecactus is my mum who was also taking pics.

Here is the cropped out image of the Vicar/Wife:

Here is the ghost? from the first pic cropped, brightened and enlarged:

Here is same ghost image with an arrow added pointing to his face:

The enlarged images of the ghost are not as clear as the original, in the complete pic you can make out the arms on the rail.

In the first picture I could see hardly anything, but I think I know what he is talking about:

But in the second one I thought I could see a figure:

I see what you mean flossy, but the face that could be some of the bush behind does not look anything like that in the comparison pic.

Plus the ghostly face is at the same hight level as the face of the real vicar in the comparison shot.

Could a long exposure time of caused the "ghostly" image?

Urbexers produce similar results to this by varying exposure times producing fantastic light images and partial "apparitions".

If you look at the zoomed in face, slightly above it, I can make out what, to me looks like a 3/4 view of a pigs head, but I doubt kermit finally wised up.

The ghostly face looks more like an alien than a human, also it's got one eye higher than the other. I think far too much is being read into random matrixing and pixellation effects. The face is whatever people want it to be...alien, ghost, pig, skull IMO it's just the way our brains are interpreting the data but thanks for sticking to your guns Winter and supplying the addition enlargements Smile
