Well, I've had many experiences in this house, but none of them have been really serious at all. When i was 10 (I am now 14) I remember being the only one in the basement, since my room is down there, and i woke up to a loud pounding on my door. I was terrified! Then it was mostly quiet around the house after that, but little stuff still happened. Like the baby monitor emitting strange noises (even tho, the speaker was on, and the microphone was off) but nothing too serious happened, until a few weeks ago. I was sleeping and woke up around 5:30 Am, I opened my eyes looked around (as i usually do) and I just decided to go back to sleep. I turn around and close my eyes, when all of a sudden i feel an ice cold hand on my back, I was paralyzed. Can anyone kinda tell me what kind of spirit this is? I would really appreciate some help

Baby monitors also pick up outside interference. It's quite common to hear odd noises or event snippets of conversations on them from sources outside the house.

How would you know that it is a hand?
Im betting that if a person was blindfolded and had cold objects placed on their back, they would ot be able to differentiate between them.
You only know its a hand when you know some one is putting their hand down your back.
Could you of just pulled the covers off you? |

I think DB has it spot on that this sounds like a case of sleep paralysis. I have had similar experiences happen to me though I tend to get night terrors more often - usually when I am particularly stressed (exams and work ect).
They can be pretty freaky and cause panic but the most important thing to remember is that you will be ok. |
