I was just looking at previous threads and noticed Iain Lawrence had popped in for a chat a few times. It seems odd that hes deleted some of his posts?
I met him a few months back at an event. It was the opportunity to camp under a reputedly haunted tree. Found out later that he'd only gone and taken us to the wrong one!! Doh!
I wonder why he left this forum so abruptly after a few justifiable criticisms were thrown his way when he apparently single handedly took on the Scientific community AND WON at the Sheffield forum? Doesnt sound like the same man? |

someone commented on one of his posts on here and he took it the wrong way from what i remember
which is a shame he's welcome to come back anytime though |

He has all but trashed his main website, and a caption he left on his Livestream channel read like a coded farewell. Reading between the lines, I suspect that he's in a state of personal crisis. If I'm right, maybe he should come back here to seek counseling. I'm sure I could advise him; oh wait that's why he left - maybe not.

Gone but not forgotten. There'll always be a place for Iain here I guess.

I don't have a problem with impulsiveness. On the other hand, forum-mangling avatars... |

Hi everyone, sorry I've not been around as much as I'd like but I'm in a new flat that doesn't have broadband installed. I'll be moving again shortly and I'll get it installed then. In the meantime keep posting and I'll catch up whenever I can folks...

To start with Child catcher, that event was cancelled so you are lying. The tree is in Wombwell woods just outside Wombwell. I canceled it due to personal problems and everyone was informed well in advance. As for me BARKING UP THE WRONG TREE and REQUIRING COUNSELING? I don't believe that is needed as I have continued to run investigations and am doing nicely thankyou. Yes I can be rather impulsive when it comes to defending the beliefs of the paranormal community. But nice to be back, yes different name this time. I am now a full time self employed fitness body weight training instructor (which is why I've been away so long). Thank you to all who missed me!
Oh and yes I did take on the Sheffield university persons on Sheffield forum, something I am well known for as there were many people watching it as it went along. I now assist David Rowntree in his endeavors, an excellent researcher from America. You will find me here on this link the 4th one down with the long blond hair. http://spinvestigations.org/TEAM.html . So yes I am very pro active while also running my own business. I past Hauntastic Events to the rest of the team, so they are also pro active in there work. There will always be skeptics, but I spend less time listening to them these days. The point of proving validity became a little mundane and I now have a personal belief and enough experiences to back it to be bothered with the bickering. I have posted thousands of posts on forums and had running battles with mediumship and the mainstream scientific community. I earned my stripes and now enjoy assisting and watching others do there thing. I shall keep popping in here to see how you all are. I removed my posts as I would not have been here to defend the position of them and I now how some people will attack a person while they are not there to defend themselves. (as we see here) But never mind. Hope you are all well. Wonder why someone would lie about going on an event which never happened? How very odd? Strange world hey. |

Nice to be back guys...whose this mysterious Child catcher who has apparently met me? and who has been on an event which never occurred? and who waited till I'd left before laying the boot in?
I'd love to chat about the event? Maybe it was a metaphysical one?
Shame I missed it. |
