Hello everyone, im hoping someone may be able to help me.
Im working at an old farm in chipstable in somerset and the main house that we havnt started working on yet has a strange feel to it. It was built in the 15th century by monks, and has be lived in up until last year.
Now, we store some funitrue inside the house and a few times some of us have had a look around it during the day and its always felt strange and cold, even the site manager swears he saw a shadow going up the stairs when theres no light or window there.
MAIN PART
In a corner of one room there was a small paper cube hanging from a piece of string.
Today one guy, although i warned him not to, took it down and opened it. Inside was a small metal loop.
Can anyone suggest what this is or is for??
I suspected it was something to do with ghosties?
heres some info on the farm http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-271159-trowell-farmhouse-chipstable-somerset |

Was the loop suspended inside the cube or just loose? |

It sounds like nothing more than a mobile that was designed to make a noise in a draught. |
