The grave of Mercy Brown

In a small cemetary located behind the Chestnut Hill Baptist Church located in Exeter Rhode Island, is where you will come across the grave of the most famous vampire in all of New England. Mercy Brown was only 19 years old when she died and shortly after other family members began to fall ill. They came to the conclusion that Mercy was a vampire. The family cut her body into pieces and her heart was used to make an antidote in hopes of curing her brother. Because of this horrible violation of her body that Mercy haunts her gravesite. Many witnesses have noticed strange lights in this area and some have heard what sounded like a girl's screams as well.

id haunt my graveside if some cut me into chucks too.isnt it funny how almost all haunting situations are surrounded by horrid deaths,no wonder there are so many lost/sad/confused souls stuck in limbo
