                                | Yesterday evening I heard my youngest daughter at the front door. I hollered at her to come on in, that I was in the sewing room. I kept on working expecting to hear the screen door slam...no slam of the door, so I hollered again saying that the screen was unlocked.
Right then the phone rang and it was my youngest daughter.

                                | I also find it hard to meditate and haven't done it for ages. I have trouble clearing my mind too. It does seem to get better with practise so I guess I should try and get back into the swing of thing.
Has anyone tried a guided meditation? We used to do these at a church where I was doing awareness and development course.

I've heard people say my name quite a bit when I am falling asleep. Somtimes it sounds like someone I know, other times I don't know the voice. But I hear it quite a bit, strange! Anyone got any idea what it is???

No, didn't hear anything...just her calling out "Hey Mum!". Since I was in the the back of the house I assumed she was calling from the front door.
When I answered the phone and realized is was her, I told her that I had just heard her call from the front door.
She just giggled and told me that I was getting closer everyday to the Loony Bin!!

Your Mum should start a little business on the side telling folks what the sex of their baby will be.
She'd be cheaper than an Ultra Sound!

                                | i don't think i could ever try meditating. I've heard that by emptying your mind from all thought it allows room for any spirit, good or bad, to enter. i remember back in highschool, some Christian group visited and were instructing my class on how to meditate- to relieve stress caused by studying for exams.
They lit a candle and when i looked at the candle my vision started to go dark, like a black veil was descending over me and i felt panicy. i ended up running out of the room and the moment i got outside i burst into uncontrolable sobbing.
 can anyone explain it?

                                | Not sure I agree with that. I feel confident that if you do not practice anything that would invite a spirit into yourself that one could enter while your meditating. | |
