A son of a guy called Griffiths fell into a very very deep pool of sewage type dirty water within the castle walls and was never found, the boys mother was said to have died from the grief and so a female type character / ghost has been seen wandering around the castle grounds and the woodland that leads to the small village a few yards down the road called Tongwynlais (Promounced ton gwin lice).
It is also said that there are spiritual beings / ghostly soldiers still guarding the familys golds/ treasures / fortune, hidden deep in the grounds of the castle. |

and again, here's a picture of the castle for those not fortunate enough to be local. If you do travel into S Wales, it's clearly visible from the M4, and looks stunning lit up at night.

From a distance the castle looks like something from a fairytale story but up close it has a different atmosphere

OK, I have to admit, The person in the doorway is me, BUT I was seriously tired in the pic, I had layers of clothes on and I hadn't been home for several days as I was out camping with a few friends. I look at that pic and think to myself what the heck was I thinking. lol |
