In the main part of the castle there is a very well presented library and chapel type area which many people report a ghostly feeling, but apparently BUTE has been seen moving between these two rooms. The castle's main dining room / hall is also the scene of paranormal activity. I have not witnessed it myself but many people including staff report that early hours of the morning at the same time every day heavy doors open and shut by themselves and the lights flash ... Probably took the lives of many men who probably were mostly slaves. ... You were would think, but these men were men of honour and proud to do anything for their rulers as it was their rulers who gave them protection and sacrificed themselves. The reason why so many of these castles are so big is because the villages were setup within the castle grounds. you read any history of these castles and it would amaze you with the amount of dedication. ...
