I have come across many mediums, and to a degree, we as people all have certain abilities.
Without trying to be too egoistic.....I am also trying to increase my own ability. Or at least to control it...which tends to get out of control from time to time.
For some reason, we work on differnt diminsions, and to be honest, I still do not understand why.
With every ability, it does have it's 'down side', especially in the early stages of development.
One such a time, was when I became slightly possessed.
Or should I say intermittingly?
The biggest fear factor (for me) is not whether it exists, but to try and turn it off.
In every day life, the human factor shows tiredness, and the ability to give up. Although in the 'unforeseen' world, this does not happen. 'Things' can attach themselves to you 24 hours a day, without rest. There is literally no 'turning off'.
This is the frightening part....the inability to control what cannot be understood.
This is the one time, I turned to a spiritualist church. The medium concerned, picked on the audience and picked out spirit people associated with each individual.
She even picked on me, with uncanny accuracy. Yet something was strange.....the entity that was attacking me, she could not see.
When mentioning this to her, she got angry and repremanded me, for suggesting that anything of this evil nature could to enter the house of God.
Fortuanately, I was able to see a spiritualist healer at this church, who ridded the force by hand vibration.
Hours later it returned, and was with me for days.
Until it suddenly jumped out of my mouth, and landed on a restaurant table....shaking it with such ferocity, that the person sitting there, moved back startled.
Eventually I was able to get rid of it....but this is not the reason for my post.
It struck me as very strange, that an experienced medium, could NOT see it, yet it existed to the degree whereby it could move physical objects.
To this day......I am not sure why. Although I believe, that certain paranormal activity does exist, which even a medium cannot see.

| I will always question "possession". One would have to invite a demon to take over or "possess"ones body. I don't think there is room enough for 2 soles to occupy one body... my opinion... |

I am pleased that you answered this YB. Thank you for your reply.
You are correct in a way, hence my post referring to 'intermittent attack' The worst time, is when a person starts to sleep, and lose their fight to 'stay' themselves.
Yet, at the same time, the 'persona' of the person stays, and they feel this invasion....just like in my case.
Yes...and you are correct again, when you say that a demon has to be invited. We make mistakes, and I, for one have to be careful what I say.
The time in question, was when we were having the back of the house extended, and I moved into the spare bedroom at the front of the house, as not to be awoken early by the workmen.
I felt and saw a black ghost cat walk on my bed, and decided to move back into my old bedroom at the back of the house and risk be awoken...LOL
It was some years that had gone by, and I recollected the incident, and wanted to dismiss it, as imagination.
So, I dared it to come back and just laughed it off., then went to bed.
Two hours later, I was woken by a cat crawling on my bed and purring into, first one ear....then the other. Then finally settling at the bottom of the bed on my ankles and sleeping??
Every few minuites, it would walk along my chest, sniffing my face and eventually jumping up and down.
Well.....eventually, I lost my cool and whacked it off the bed.....then the problem started.
It got to the stage, where it dived into my belly button and gave me the most horrible shivers and altering my mood. Although I was in control, I could ffel the strong tendency of losing control of my limbs.
Until eventually, through lack of sleep, my jaw would be yanked back.
It eventually formed itself into a magnet, rolling my eyes and puffing my cheeks.
Getting to sleep, meant having it enter my dreams (every day for about two months) and chewing my face.
Only to awaken, to find it on my bed.
Although whilst awake, I was able to gain full control, it did not stop it vibrating inside my mouth.

Yes.....
This may sound strange, but the supernatural does not frighten me. I am more frightened being tossed about in an aircraft than I am with ghosts. Perhaps it is because I have had too many experiences all through my life, which I take as normal.
The thing which bothered me, with this one.....is:- "How do I switch it off?"
Unlike any illness, there is not a single soul who will take you seriously.You are literally alone with this one, and a psychatrist is not the answer.
It is only because of my strong mind, that I was able to get by. Any other person, it would have driven mad.
This was many years ago, and to this day, I sleep with my ankles crossed.
I was able to put up a fight because whilst it was happening, I studied it.
My theory was that it was feeding from my own energy. That it was working on my emotions and mind.
It started off most nights, with a weight on my ankles from the bed covers. The weight would lift and then press down, as my mind began to build up rhythm. This then changed to a breathing rhythm, and it began to move. Then the worst would happen, what I had earlier described.
I also believed that it hypnotised me, in order to produce the rhytms to give out energy and then it was able to top up that energy, by using my own emotion to give it body and solidity.
That is what I think. Perhaps one reason why nothing was seen at the spiritual church?
It may be argued whether it was real. Indeed....just like a real one pound weight cat. As it even licked my toes.
Whilst it was walking on me, it would be careful not to touch my girlfriend who lay next to me. I was able to jerk quick, and it fell and landed on her.
Indeed...she felt it fall on her.
