Why are so many people afraid to enter this type of conversation?
I posted a topic about this on another forum, and I ended up getting ridiculed. This person, only showed that, they are ignorant, and basically...in denial about what is OUT THERE??
Even a comment, at all would've helped, but besides this person, no one commented? |

what are forums for if not for discussion
it beats me why people have to ridicule topics they dont believe or even understand,
if people dont have anything of interest to say about a topic then dont say nothing at all
simple as that |

My friend Don, claimed to be a vampire for a long time...
But he never craved blood, so I said that he was only a fantasizer?
But he recently came across this site:
http://vampiresarereal.tripod.com/id6.html
He claims that he is psy-vamp.
I told him, that if he truly feels he is a vamp, then I'm fine with it.
I don't personally see vamp's as scary. They are humans... |

there are an awful lot of those type of people aiden. psy ones and psi ones. easy enough to stop it too.
also come across the empathy type too.
i try and avoid situations where the empathy ones are causing problems to feed. |

The problem is, that Christianity -most sectors- teach that vamp's are of the devil...
This is the reason, why people like Don have to keep secretive. Vampires are just like any other human, but they just have different needs.
But there is still much to celebrate about them... Maybe one day, more love can happen for vamp's. |

My teenage daughter's ex boyfriend thought he was a vampire - obviously he wasn't, and I'm not ridiculing you here, but unfortunately the rise in vampire fiction over the last couple of decades, buffy, Darren Shan etc which places vampires in an entirely different setting and with huge amount of details about being a vampire, than the traditional tales, means that they have become more accessible to people who may previously have known that they couldn't be a vampire but now, think they might be - apparently vampires have even started sparkling recently
But obviously I don't know any facts about vampires or their actual existence, but would be happy to learn more if you will tell us your experiences |

i just love the sparkly vampires from "twighlight"
the books are miles better than the film, as is usually the way. |

Hi Twinks - I couldn't get into the idea of sparkly ones myself - I prefer my vampires to be darker
And you're right about the film, I've only seen a trailer but too teenybop for me |

Here I thought there was only one kind of vampire.
Are there more than one kind of werewolves as well? |

Yes I think you're right Flossy, Twilight is more of a love story genre with vampires as the main characters than the traditional vampire movie, but I'll probably rent it, any idea when it will be released on DVD?
Bitterbuck, I agree, I always thought there was only one kind of vampire, the undead blood sucking creature of the night! I actually don't know about alternative werewolves, will have to check that out! |
