This section is a breath of fresh air, no doubt people have thier own opinions (all important) about this 'show' and i do use this term show very slackly.
I will admit when it first started I did watch quite avidly ... where as now I watch because its probably one of the most amusing things on TV
I'm quite appaled by Ms Fieldings aproach and at times cringe, NO ! I think cringe is the wrong word TBH I could slap the woman Shocked

Is is only me or does it seem that everytime some one pulls her up (and there have been a couple) then they are swiftly exited from the show ?
As been said in the other posts its all about the 'showmanship' (Fred 'reincarnated crusader' Batt & Lesley 'I couldnt possibly scream any louder' Smith spring to mind) and entertainment value. Derek well I dunno ?? i really dont as when he does personal readings he does seem very accurate ? And whats with Brian why do all his people look alike and always gloom & doom ?
Phil Wyman was by far one of my favs and a personal friend of one of my friends.... Ian Lawman ( I dont think that surname is correct) but he was good and not afraid to tell Ms Fielding when she was out of order in her respect for spirits ......I'm sorry if im out of order here and sincerly apologise if im wrong ... but tis good to get it off my chest .. thanks for reading (please remove mod's if im out of line)

A Few years ago. MH. Did a vigil in a guys house, who said it was haunted, after the investigation he also claimed that his club in London was also haunted, by the ghost of Ruth Ellis, so off MH went to investigate. The guy was Fred Batt, A Millionaire Businessman, now forward a few years and Fred Batt, who incidently was at one point going out with Yvettes mom and also very good friends with Yvette and Karl. Now turns up on a MH Live, and hey ho, he is a Demonologist and Master of The Black Arts. Something not quite right here with this story is there?

I only got to know the show about 1 year ago, visiting my friends in england, i found it really interesting, well, the last couple of seasons i mean. slowly but surly though i read quite a few things about the show and first of all i have to agree that derek acorah is possibly some sort of "Showman", after all Yvette and her team tricked him and he fell for it. Other than that, i learned to watch the show without thinking too much about if it is real or not. it certainly is kind of spooky, although i personally would like to have some serious parapsychologists try to unravel if the show is really that what it seems. Nevertheless, i'm looking forward for some more scary Most Haunted:o)
