If you feel that destroying the picture may have some influence with the spirit world, why not keep that picture in the locket and put the picture you want on top of it. Just a suggestion..... ... If you don't get rid of the photo then there's a strong possibility that 'bad things' will happen anyway since 'bad things' (being subjective) happen all the time but you'll not connect them to the picture. I don't believe in negative or positive energy in a spiritual sense so I'd dispose of the picture and not worry about the consequences - because there will be none. DB ...
