Hi everyone,
Just recently found out about a new haunted place,not that far from me.Seems like its got quite a lot of paranormal going ons.Including mysterious white figures,strange lights,mists coming all of a sudden,and so ive been told monks praying and chanting,in between 2 very old churches.I am off with my group to investigate it next week,i will keep you informed if i manage to catch anything on film.If i do i will post them on here.

Do you have an official group that you do with the investigations with or is it a group of friends with the same interests?

Where in Leeds you from?,I used to live in Rothwell.
The paranormal group we have,is one that me and my husband started off,its not official,just lots of friends of ours with same interests,and most of who have witnessed paranormal going ons.Hoping to catch something good at this cemetery,lots of people have seen spooky things there,late at night.

For the benefit of anyone else who also may be reading and comes from the same area i decided to check out this place this early morning between 2-4am Wed 23 Dec.
About 40 mins or so into having entered the cemetery one of the security lights went off by the entrance gates by itself and then a couple of minutes later a white light whizzed past some trees and fizzled out.
Whether that is anything or not i don't know as animals i think can set off those light sensors. As for the light i wonder if that might just be debris falling to earth from space. I experienced something similar before outside my house only this time it was a stronger blue light that glowed like a flare before fading out as it fell past some trees up on the grass hill.
Whatever i will visit again soon maybe in the summer when its not cold and snowy.
I will post some pics of the cemetery within this thread in the next week or so anyway.
I think for some of the stories mentioned here by Raven if they happen at all they happen probably rarely and get blown out of proportion or mixed and made up by people as they circulate around as so often is the case with rumors spread by word of mouth. The place backs onto houses and a lot of street lights reflect back against the tombstones. I almost mistook what appeared to be some sort of light formation in the grounds to only be a lamp reflection which faded as i moved position. The only other light i saw was on a headstone which was one of those tiny battery or solar powered plastic lights people sometimes leave at gravesites. They alone seem creepy looking in the cold and dark stillness of a cemetery.
