I used to be able to get a sony HVR-IRM or whatever for £35 and a Sima for 20 something. This was like 2 years ago. I looked today and saw the sony from £100 - £250. The Sima was a lot cheaper, but it's been discontinued (As has the sony?)and I can't find one anywhere. (The battery life is terrible anyway, but I was going to convert it) I've seen somthing called a phantom-lite, but it looks pretty tacky and from what I hear doesn't compare to the other two. WHAT'S GOING ON? There are more ghost hunting shows on TV than ever and sudden;y you can't get IR emitters? Are there any good ones out there? Anyone still stock the Simas? ...
