I have had a number of recurring dreams over the years. The most frequent are around this subject:-
It is the late 19th Century. Possibly Germany. I am a man of military rank. And have 'seen' myself in full uniform on several occasions. It is all white, with medals on the left chest.
I have brown hair and eyes. In my 'early years' I am clean shaven. Later on - a moustache. Then, finally, a neatly-trimmed beard. At that point I walk with a silver-topped black cane in my right hand. I have a slight limp. [Some injury sustained in battle?]
In the 'middle' and 'late' dreams time-wise my wife is usually with me. I don't recall children, though. We are sometimes in a open carriage drawn by four horses. With a cavalry escort. Or sometimes boarding a train.
The most worrying dream is this: we are descending some steps in full evening dress. [Possibly from a Theatre or Opera House. I seem to wear medals on my jacket here too!] We are usually talking to others.
Suddenly a man dashes forward with a pistol [or revolver]. There is a struggle between him an another man. The assailant's arm is grabbed. However, a shot has been fired. A woman screams. And I collapse clutching my right side. Someone gently lowers me to the ground. The gunmen is dragged away [by guards, I think] shouting. The last thing I recall before passing out is people crowding around me. And my wife kneeling beside me hysterical.
An Odd Footnote.
On the right side of my body - and this has been noted by GPs and paramedics over the years - is a 'tender' patch of flesh and muscle. This is particulaly acute in one area. Where the bullet 'grazed' me in the dream. I also have a habit of placing my left arm across my lower chest.Spooky, eh? |

Good afternoon, Flossy and Twinks. Interesting idea. I had the same thought myself. For several reasons. There is a clear 'narrative thread' - the 'story' of a life. Like memories 'coming back', the events aren't in any chronological order. The details are consistent [events, places, people], and never vary. A bit like playing a video over and over. Or re-reading the same book. But each time starting in a different place. |

Seems creepy. But cool. I like how you talk about that tender patch, cause it's like a ladder into a past life, or occurrence.
I have a small bruise on my lower right leg, which has been there since I was 15(ages ago). I had a dream that I was walking to school, and my school was lit up like a glowing white flying saucer was before me.
Someone hit me hard in the upper right calf, and my muscle tightened painfully. I felt like someone stuck a sharp small pole into my leg.
Next day I had a blue bruise, in that area. It’s purple now, and still there.

Happy New Year to Everyone. Hope U all had a good Xmas It is rather 'creepy', Aiden. Your experience is curious. Reading several books on Past Live experiences, I have noted those that mention birthmarks, scars, etc. They have been linked to where people say they have received wounds or injuries in a previous incarnation. Mainly associated with bladed objects or guns, it seems. With me, in that dream, it was a bullet that was linked with that tender area of muscle... |

I have been having a recurrent dream, since my childhood where I see Shiva lingam inside a green hut in the middle of a pond. Your dream seems to be a clear past life regression. It is better to consult a hypnotherapist to get a clear picture of your dream. |

Hi again, cuddly. Recurring dreams maybe a 'pointer' to a possible Past Life. If I have a 'dream sequence', where the details are consistent, like a narrative or story, then, I think, that could be another 'indicator' I don't often have dreams of this type, BTW. They are usually unrelated to each other. I've got a Past Life Regression CD, and have had two Regressions. These have proved very useful.
A few months ago I saw a striking looking stone in a New Age Shop. Beautifully marked with bands of deep red, grey and brown. I was told it was a Shiva Lingam from the Ganges. I cheekily asked whether it had the same powers as the ones in the Indiana Jones film. She just laughed. And said, if it did, she could afford to retire early! I bought it.
Now the S L 'happily lives' alongside an Ammonite and another marine fossile (can't recall the name), Amber, volcanic rocks, a piece of meteorite, a stone arrow head given to me by a Native American, A Shaman Stone [large Boji Stone], and other pieces, in a display based on the Four Elements. |
