Hi, First just wanted to say hello as it's the first time I've posted on here. It has taken me a while to pluck up the courage to write on a ghost forum but felt like I really wanted to chat about a few experiences that keep happening and that I feel I can't ignore anymore! I have never really discussed them much except with a few close friends who I know are interested in the paranormal and won't laugh at me:-)
So this is one of the more recent things....I was staying in a holiday cottage in the Dales with my partner and some friends. It was an old stone small manor house and one evening we started talking about ghosts in general and sharing stories we had heard and generally getting a bit spooked. Then I had to go upstairs to my room to get my phone or something (can't remember exactly what I went to get) and as I walked along the coridoor that I thought felt quite spooky I walked past the wall light and the lightbulb blew and went out just as I was passing it! Spooked me at the time but made me laugh a bit aswell as it was such good timing...do u think this could have been a ghost or 'something' playing a trick on me??! Of course could just have been coincidence too . Thoughts welcome |

Most likely coincidence mate.

I would say vibration. It could have been one of those poxy screw-in bulb fittings, perhaps not properly tightened and gradually loosened by people walking past, or the filament was just about to go and the vibration of your walking did for it. |

Unless you're < 4ft tall, you would have gone through the ceiling and your own lights would have gone out. |
