I've watched Most Haunted just a few times. So I can't really voice on Derek Acorahwhat.

On the SCI Fi channel we have Ghost Hunters, same category as Most Haunted I assume.

Sure you can put a kibosh on most of it, but what the heck..... at some point in time something has to be real.

Watch, enjoy, and take it for a grain of salt.

We as a people, only believe it if we see it.

Derek is a total fake, he needs an ear piece to keep in contact with sam who happens to be a guy that has a lap top set up and is able to search all the net for info as he needs it, even evette commented on hearing voices when she was close to him during filming and he would suddenly cover his ear and step away from her.
sussed you Derek.
thats why he had to end most haunted after the last halloween special, if you watch that one you will see how even evette got mad with him over it while live on tv.

i think its all acting.if it isnt then he needs to give it up cos he is getting weak cos he is being taken over more now than when he started.at first it was interesting when he was taken over but now we say oh here we go again.we have stopped watching it cos its boring now.

unfortunately derek met his own doom with most haunted, as yrs ago he was a very trusted and reliable medium, however show buisness and the lime light went to his head and he started playing up for the cameras.
he was caught out on the show by its own people, who set him up (nice people eh)
but nothing seems to phase him, hes moved on and it doesnt appear as if his discredit on most haunted has done him that much harm as he still has quite a large following on his own show.
personally though, the likes of occorah have hurt a lot of people in the buisness so hes a no go for me .

The paranormal goes looking for the paranormal, the paranormal will only be found by those not seeking it. There has to be a balance between all plains to protect the integrity of what we are allowed to know, and what we are not.
These rules govern our every day existence; they are merely there to protect us from what we don't need to know. The paranormal is oblivious to our schedule and operates according to its own code. The paranormal is all around us and never around us at the same time.
The fact that there are so many fakes merely serves to prove that there are a few among us who are truly gifted, but it is not for them to have tv cameras follow them around.
They are all fake at Most Haunted, fact. It is after all a tv show which must rely on its ratings to survive. Therefore if a producer is worried about his show being shelved he/she must conjure up ways to get more viewers in; this will invariably mean more drama, or should I say melodrama... and with melodrama comes melodrama.
