|
|
every time my yongest daughter gets a bag on she fires off like a bullet, her temper beats all of ours together, and she has no fuse so there is little warning.
But my light bulbs flicker and burst, and as she got older and had he own daughter she is turning lights on around the house and fusing the switch, my hubby is a fully trained electrician and he checked everything , he says its all good but he is getting sick of having to replace switches and burnt out bulb sockets.
the buld dont just explode but the metal part that gets left in the socket its melted in tho the holder so its a new one every time, same goes for the light switch, when my hubby opens it the whole thing is black inside.
i am gonna get her to a priest |

Is that 4 generations of your family that have this "capability"?

Well if i go right back it started with my Japanese great gran on my dads side of course then it was her son who is my dads dad, my grandad, then my dad, then me and now my youngest daughter and my two sons, my oldest daughter has only ever recieved the odd thing but nothing else.
My hubby is in to UFO's and all that sort of stuff, he does believe in the paranomal world of haunting because he had experiances so he knows theres something out there
I taught my children from very early in life to be open and curious about everything in life, they do yoga and meditation with me so does my hubby, we sit for hours chatting about most things and we have no secrets, we are a hippy family. |

exactly my point.
i hate parents that answer questions badly because they think they are protecting them from something.
I was at a resturant the other month with my oldest son and there was a woman and a little girl on the table behind us, the little girl asked her mummy why the old man over there had no hair, her mum answered with a sort of tall tale story about how if you dont eat all your dinner then all your hair falls out and that old man must of been a bad boy because all his hair fell off.
That not only puts the fear of god in to the little girl but it teaches her that you must clear your plate even when your full, and this will result in mental and physical health problems, she lied to her so now as she grows up what opinion will she have of her mother and other adults, she has now got the posssibillity of growing up to have trust issues and become obese.
The problem with alot of parents is they use black mail and stories like that one abave to get what they want from there kids and they dont think of the outcome.
i remember being a child and being lied to by my friends mum, i was about 8 years old and she was baby sitting me for an hour, i was helping her clean the kitchen floor and someone knocked on the front door, she peeked out of the window carefully and ran to the kitchen then asked me to be very quiet and stay under the table, i thought it was fun.
Whoever it was had gone so i asked her why and who? she said it was a stranger and she dont answer the door to strangers because all strangers are bad!
when i got home i asked my dad about it and he told me that not all strangers are bad and she was wrong to tell me that, he knew it was one of her dept collectors,he told me all about it.
dad said she was protecting herself from gossip and used it as a way of teaching me to be carefull of strangers but she did it a bit wrong.
but i did learn never to trust what she said in the future. |

hippies are not trash yuppies are trash
hippies have life worked out and know what makes them happy, yuppies do as others do and try to keep up with the jonese so to speak.
be free and be yourself.

I didn't mean "biker trash" in a negative way by any means.
If I stepped on any toes, I do apologize! |
