The Jamaica Inn is a tourist attraction and about as haunted as Disneyworld in Florida.
The UK may have more history, castles and ghost culture than the USA but it's only as haunted as you make it. You're just as likely to see your ghosts at Gettysburg as you are in the Tower of London.

Here is the information under the video:
Filmed in Gettysburg USA.
I contacted the owners of this video and they gave me kind permission to use their Email as information about this video.
HELLO,
THANKS FOR GETTING IN TOUCH WITH ME.
YES MY HUSBAND TOM AND I FILMED IT AT THE TRIANGLER FIELD NOV 2001.
THE IMAGES YOU ARE SEEING ARE GOING UP INTO THE TREES, FOR THERE IS A 10FT DROP RIGHT WHERE THE FLAT ROCK IS. WE GOT THE COPYRIGHT LAST YEAR CAUSE A FRIEND SUGGESTED THAT WOULD BE BEST TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS. THE MAURY SHOW CONTACTED ME EARLIER THIS YEAR TO SHOW IT ON THEIR SHOW, SO WE AGREED.
GHOSTSTUDY.COM HAS HAD IT ON THEIR WEBSITE FOR AWHILE NOW. WE SENT THE TAPE TO THEM AND THEY PUT IT ON THERE SITE.
THANKS AGAIN FOR BEING HONEST AND YES YOU CAN KEEP IT ON YOUR SITE AND YES AGAIN I READ SOME OF THE STUPID COMMENTS, BUT THEY ARE SMALL MINEDED PEOPLE.
SINCERELY
DELIA & TOM UNDERWOOD
If you look at 0:17 - after the figure walks in right behind is a more ghostly appearing figure.
I believe this is possibly footage of real ghosts. |

I can't see any jumping up into trees If these ghosts really are jumping up into trees it raises the question - why?.
We can't just take the the person who filmed this at face value in terms of where it was filmed and the position of the moving shapes (because that's all they are) relative to the ground.
Does it not puzzle anyone else that there is no footage filmed from the same spot in better light or closer to the actual spot these 'shapes' were appearing in so that we can get a better idea of the location?.
Just because someone says something is as they describe it - we shouldn't be using this as proof of anything.
I'm still of the opinion that this is, at best, inconclusive and unclear. It's certainly nor evidence of anything supernatural going on or best ghost footage ever

That is true - we can't just assume the person who filmed this is genuine and it will remain inconclusive - If I was holding the camera, and the area is like they say, it would be proof for me. As we know already, no photo or video will ever be solid proof of any paranormal event now. |

And why didn't they go investigate and move closer rather than stay at a distance - too terrified?.

Possibly.
When my Grandad was young one night he was walking home from town - he lived in a country area (late 1920's/early 1930's) and as he come to a part of the road, a nun with her hands praying walked out in front of him and then she disappeared, it was pitch black - no lights anywhere back then, no houses - only moonlight - and he then had to walk another 3 miles home.
He too never investigated it, in fact he never went near the place again. |

Just watched the you tube vid, interesting, but the shapes are very repetative in there actions, possiby lights from a car passing on the road.
The lights of several cars will usually illuminate the same area as the last car which could explain the repeating pattern. |

Good point Carlos, that's one very likely explanation - far more likely than tree hopping Civil War ghosts.
