I was sat thinking about this stuff yesterday and I remembered this incident from when I was a kid.
We had a loft conversion as a bedroom then and a lot of junk was stored in compartment to the sides behind the newly built walls. Within all this was a guitar. For weeks I swear I used to hear this guitar playing. Not a tune or anything, just random plucking of notes. When I talked to my dad about it he said that it would have been the rain hitting metal outside and just echoing creating this plucking sound. It was enough to get me to sleep but the more and more I think about it the more I just can't picture our house ever having had metal objects around the garden. At the very least not near enough to the house to echo inside.
Instruments playing themselves is such a cliche but I have a weird feeling this was a paranormal event that was ignored. Does this stuff happen? |

Many reports in decades gone by have reported that sort of phenomena and there is no way to prove or disprove whether things like this can happen. Some people believe spirits attach themselves to their favourite objects. Do you know the full history of the guitar? Is it a family heirloom or did your family buy it? I believe stuff like that can just be a way of something getting your attention. |

have you tried setting a camera up on it to see if you can catch it playing? |

Sorry for this extremely late reply but I am certain the guitar was new when we got it and it is unfortunately just a thing of the past now I just thought it interesting and wanted some insight. |

may it was a mouse running over it?
I noticed in one of your videos you have a guitar in your loft which has been moved from the spirit in your house, is this the same one? |
