does anyone one know how to get rid of ants, these are huge with wings, my dad said they only fly one day out of the year looking for a new nest,
ive never seen them this big before, its like they,ve been on steriods or some thing, they are in my front and back garden, so i have to keep my doors and windows closed, and its hot today
im scared if they find a nest next to mine how will i get rid of them, ive put ant powder down next to my front door and in the front garden, but does anyone know of anything else i can do |

yup, you can also Google "ant types" and try to identify the ants you have then you can google for items on getting rid of that particular type |

I'd like to see a picture of those ants also Flossy.
We've had them here also after a good rain.
But the size you have described them is allot bigger than the ones I've seen. |

They may have gone to ground.
As you Dad was saying they fly to start another nest, lose their wings and then go to ground.
Well...that's what they do here where we live. |
