| it seems like it's the same apparition, or one that looks almost exactly the same. I see what you're saying if it were 2 different apparitions but it's probably unlikely someone caught 2 holy grail of ghost hunting spirits in the space of a few seconds |

Who knows, but one thing is for certain as I keep saying, something more convincing must come soon.
BTW if you're wondering why no-one else is posting, currently there is a problem with the advertising scripts on the site, which is causing redirection to other sites. Only those of us with scripts disabled can remain on this site, and getting anything fixed here isn't easy at the best of times. |

In the video, I notice between 29 and 32 seconds, I see the apparition you have mentioned, it seems to stand with arms outstretched and the car with a little swerve goes through the middle of it.
In the second sighting, the apparition seems to walk across the road, unaware of the the oncoming police car, yet disappears near exactly half way across the road, behind some sort of wall of black.
When the police car goes through the oncoming apparition, it near stops within a few yards of its encounter, yet when It turns round, the second sighting is a lot further down the road, as if it was the same spot, it would have appeared very close upon the car turning round.
What is striking, is the first apparition appears on the side of the road where the second one does not make.
With that theory it makes me wonder if there was an accident there, and if that is the spirit of a person, then both could tie in.
Maybe a scenario, someone has crossed the road unaware of any car, then has turned round panicked when the car is near on top of them, hence why the 2 different forms, and using both sides of the road.
If it was to all make sense, you would expect it to walk out, and then turn to the car and get knocked over, but as there is no scientific proof ghosts exist, and only sightings from people like us, who knows how the spirit world works.
I have read plenty of times, residual haunts play out a scene time and time again. Maybe this is happening in a way where the scene may be finished, and not be interrupted, e.g. the car stopping before impact.
The other thing baffling, is why here is a fair difference between the two sightings, unless again, there is no real rule for an incident to be played out in the same spot.
I believe your theory though, It will most probably be one and the same. As you say, you cannot really see no ghosts then 2 come along at once.

Forgot to mention, the reason I think the apparition disappears halfway across the road, is because it is a cut off point for the whole scenario.
As it seems the encounter may be playing in reverse, the whole episode would have to split somewhere, I believe the actual running down of the apparition would come second in a real life accident.
Where the figure disappears in the second sighting, is where I believe the impact happened.
As I stated above the only baffling thing, wouldbe why both parts played out a fair distance apart.
My theory for that is so it can be clearly noticed. |

Catch 22. If they are having problems (and don't know how to get round it) then they can't answer you.
The problem is the script below, which is diverting to http://www.yourdomaindotcom

I only noticed it yesterday, because I happened to connect using a different browser.
The cause is quite clearly this script:
<script src="http://www.yourdomaindotcom/topmsg.js">
If you view that script you will see that it contains this instruction:
window.top.location.href = "http://www.yourdomaindotcom";
which breaks out of any existing frame structure, then loads www.yourdomaindotcom
This will occur on any browser that permits third-party scripts to run.
The answer is simply to omit this script. |

I have tried it on three different devices and it is present on them all on http://www.worldofghosts.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=12 and other forum pages.
On my PC I noticed that it stopped appearing but then came back when I cleared my cookies and reloaded.
Is yourdomaindotcom one of your sponsors or don't you have control over that? There's no clear suggestion of the site being infected,
the script in question appears to have been edited from one that used to generate an advertising iframe. |
