Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the site and thought i'd start with something that is going on in my home now.
Been living here about three months now and every now and then I kept catching something out of the corner of my eye always in the corner of the living room all I could say was that it was sandy coloured and small, I saw this quite alot and then last week I was upstairs holding a load of washing and as I turned around I saw it again, a little dog, it scurried straight under the bed.....gone.
The next day I was sitting here on the PC and as I looke down I saw it sitting right next to my leg, as per it vanished as quickly as I saw it.
I'm happy to have it around but I don't think our kitten is as she keeps standing on her back legs for no reason and hissing at nothing, she hides herself away and sprints in fear when there is nothing we can see, I'm guessing it must be the dog as cats are far more sesitive to this type of thing than us humans.
I've never had a sandy coloured dog, well not a small one like this and i've been asking the neighbours if they know anything but so far no further information. |

Welcome to the Forums Sunray... Animals do hang around their owners. In your case, could be that sometime in the past an animal died and stayed with the owner till the owner left. The dog stayed with the house.
Not sure how to get rid of an animal ghost. Your cat should get use to it after a while. Next time you see your cat doing this act. Find it and comfort it letting it know it is ok and safe. This may help. |

Welcome to the forum Sunray.
Have you thought of snapping a few photos when your cat acts up?
You may catch a good look at your "new" house mate. |
