Archaeology suggests that man was not walking the earth at this time let alone wearing sandals hence the anomaly. ... My grandfather was raised in the Dakota's, (North Dakota to be exact), when they were kids they would follow the coal wagon and pick-up the fallen pieces and take them home. This one time while he and his sisters were following the wagon, they happened to pick-up a mummified foot of a small child that was amongst the coal pieces. Now the question is...Did it originate from inside the vein of coal? I would say most likely not, just happened to be picked up while shoveling the coal into the wagon. Still it gets you thinking doesn't it? ...
